.'. To Feel .'.

She's ready to confront the future with a brand new façade
Common Sense and World Peace etched on her back
Time is traced without a shadow, yet betrayed by progression
A day she will remember is just round the corner
When headlines herald the murder of Reality

She awoke with a tear on her cheek, had she been dreaming?
Sensations of chocolate sundaes on her tongue never felt so strange
Tangled in the vines of this concrete jungle that rips through the earth
Disposable memories now available at your nearest convenient store
It's hard to tell if we're alive anymore

The star that held her buried dreams has faded
Her fossil heart lies in a frame
Kaleidoscope fragments bleed into Stygian days
Where the sun needs not to rise
And the lifeless reign supreme
